When a 2008 earthquake cut power and \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: 1rem;\"\u003ewater to their farm mid-harvest, Francisca drew on her \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: 1rem;\"\u003eknowledge of African production methods and improvised \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: 1rem;\"\u003eraised drying beds on the spot.
