The high elevation of their farm contributes to the coffee’s bright acidity and complexity.\u003cbr\u003eRodolfo has been working in coffee his whole life and inherited his farm at 25 years. The name “La Pila” comes from a cement water tank Rodolfo built after discovering a rare water source on his land. In a region where water is scarce , this feature became not just an essential resource but also a defining symbol of his farm.\u003cbr\u003eThanks to his passion and dedication to innovation, he keeps on pushing the quality of his coffees through processes and equipment he invented, like for instance a bicyle powered depulping system.\u003cbr\u003eNatural Guatemalan micro‐lots like this coffee are un‐common, especially from farms this small and sustainability‐minded.
